The IGDS was launched in Hong Kong in 1990 with joint collaboration between The University of Warwick, UK and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University to provide an academic platform to prepare professionals for greater challenges ahead in their career.

The IGDS integrates the best features and strengths of the two Universities, and provides participants with global perspective in the areas of Business Management, Engineering Technology, and Information Technology.

Over 1,400 professionals sponsored by more than 800 companies have graduated from the IGDS.
