Joint Award         The Master of Science degrees are jointly awarded by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and The University of Warwick.         Global Networking and Recogition         The IGDS is assessed on the same basis as in the UK and other IGDS centres.   The IGDS is offered through our international network in UK, Singapore, India, Malaysia, Thailand, Chinese Mainland, as well as Hong Kong.   This global network offers flexibility to students who are often on business trips and enables them to attend modules outside of Hong Kong.         Flexible Study         Over 30 modules are available for selection. The modular structure allows participants to design a programme that best suits their personal needs.   Participants can change their mode of attendance three weeks before a module starts.   Module fees are paid on a per module basis.         World Class Support         The programme is taught by academic staff from both The University of Warwick, UK and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.   Specialists and experts from other universities, industry, and research associations are invited as guest speakers.         Industrial Collaboration and Assessment         Assessment methods are through company-based post-module assignments, projects, in-module tests so as to enable participants to apply what they have learnt in the classroom to their companies.   Academic staff and industrial supervisors collaborate on programme moderation and assessment.         Personal Networking         The IGDS provides the opportunity for building networks among participants from industry, academia, and the public sectors.   Participants come from diverse industrial and multi-disciplinary backgrounds and stimulate excellent interaction when tackling real business problems during small group syndicate sessions.
